There are three types of people we think should join this group: Teachers (or students!) with a burning idea for how to improve education. Developers and engineers who can help them build it. And entrepreneurs and investors who are willing to support them in the attempt.
The aim of each Hackathon is to try and imagine, design and build a functioning model of each EdTech idea within a defined time period.
At the finale of each EdTech Hackathon, all participants will get a 20 second pitch to sell their product to everyone else, followed by an audience vote. Products will then be assessed in detail by an expert panel of EdTech and Entrepreneurial experts. The winning team will receive a prize and the opportunity for an in-depth 45 minute assessment and mentoring session for their product by leading edtech experts.
