We'll have some structured networking sessions where game developers and educators can look for answers to specific questions they may have about each other's field of expertise as well as a collaboration wall where you can post, an idea, question or even job opening you may have that relates to games and education and find answers, resources or people to work with.

In February IGDA Seattle teamed up with Foundry10, Seattle Ed Tech and Pacific Science Center for our first Education and Games Industry Breakout session, and the overwhelming feedback we got from the event was that people wanted more. More structured networking, more talks and sessions focused on outcomes and just more time for the event overall.
Inspiration for the initial event came out of a desire to foster collaboration between our groups and with that in mind we will be showcasing game teams and educators that have collaborated together and hearing their stories about lessons learned and what worked and what didn't when they worked together on a project
Dinner and refreshments will be served at the event, we'll be posting more details about the program as we lock down presenters and sessions.
