Title of Talk:
Building your own in-house multi-tenant / multi-cluster Kafka for Dummies

Abstract:
We’ll talk about how you can build your own multitenant / multi-cluster Kafka. We’ll look at the processes and people you’ll need to have in place. Take into consideration a few different architectural options. Examine some of the tradeoff between multi tenant and multi-cluster. Ponder security, naming strategies, quotas and do you really need that GUI?

Bio:
Dan is a Technical Account Manager with Confluent. He has spent the last eighteen months talking to EMEAs largest Kafka users about their deployments and use cases. The previous fifteen years were spent designing, building and maintaining distributed applications and systems. Besides work he enjoys family, nature and sports.
