Abstract:
Are you interested in learning about Microsoft certifications for software developers? Would you like to get an overview of ASP.NET Core MVC framework? Come and join us to see my presentation. I am going to talk about MCSA, MCSD, and role based certifications. Then, I will describe my experience in passing Exam 70-486 (MVC) and what resources I have used.

In the second part of the presentation I am going to go over the MVC pattern and the basic ASP.NET Core MVC components. I will highlight the biggest changes between MVC 5 and Core. I am going to demonstrate a sample online store application to provide examples for discussed concepts.

In the final part, I am going to explain how to use Claims and Policies in the ASP.NET Core Identity.

Speaker Bio:
I have spent the past seven years working at Academy Petroleum Industries as a software developer and IT administrator. While working there, I have developed estimation and cost tracking system using Ruby on Rails and Ember.js frameworks. I have always been enthusiastic about open-source software and Linux ecosystem. Since the release of .NET Core I have become more and more interested in learning .NET technologies.
