What we're about

Edmonton Tarot Meetup is for anyone who is interested in learning, sharing and practicing Tarot. We will meet regularly to explore various topics in the Tarot, learn and practice reading and interpreting the cards and meet and share our knowledge and our questions about the Tarot.

If you are new to Tarot, we welcome you to join us! If you are experienced or a professional reader we also welcome you. Meetings are structured so that everyone can benefit, learn and share their love of Tarot.

The Edmonton Tarot Meetup values a safe, inclusive space for all faiths and beliefs, and all people. Meetups are conducted in a respectful, inquisitive and explorative manner, but with a lot of fun as well. We are a group of people who love the Tarot, love to learn about it, love to practice it (whether for our own self or for service to others), and love to meet with others who share this passion.

If you have any questions about joining, please send a message!

Thursday Tarot for the Self - ONLINE

Online event

Please note! This is an online event. Please use the Zoom link below to join us! The program will finish at 8:30pm, at which time we can have an informal discussion about any topics you would like. I will keep it open to about 11:30pm, but you can leave at any time. Thursday Tarot for the Self Online is a series of tarot meetups in which we spend time exploring the ways we can read cards (tarot or oracle) for our own self growth, learning or practice. This is especially good for anyone who would like to work on self improvement, card meanings, try out new card layouts, begin a monthly reading for themselves and want to use tarot to help with the journey. Tarot for the self is a different approach to reading tarot in which we use the cards and spreads to explore concepts and aspects of our self with the goal of discovering, learning, improving, healing and understanding our self. It is based on the idea that the images in the cards can help us tap into our psyche and higher self, and the meanings of the cards can help to prompt us to explore and connect with our best selves. In other words it is a conversation with our self. Bring your tarot or oracle cards, your journal, and your cup of tea and any resource books you like to use (such as card interpretation, or the guidebook that came with your tarot cards) and let's read some cards! Each month I provide a calendar for the upcoming month with astrological, celtic tree and other important dates; a set of readings you can use with tarot or oracle cards and a topic for discussion focussed on reading the cards for yourself. Past topics have included shadow work, your astrological/tarot family of cards, card a day practice, creating your own spread, your numerological/tarot correspondences and many more. This event is perfect for all readers of any level of expertise. • Important to know There is no charge for online events during COVID-19. • What to bring -A tarot or oracle deck with you. -Your tarot journal, -Your cup of tea or other favourite beverage, and -Your favourite tarot reference book (if you have one). • About the Tarot Society of Edmonton Meetups.
