This meetup is for people who want the benefits of meeting people and networking without the pain of conventional networking events.

At every monthly meeting, we all participate in a different guided activity designed to connect us with one another, get some conversations started, and equip us to navigate other networking situations more successfully.

This month, we're going to examine networking as connection and work on setting goals to help establish your ideal network. We will also explore the benefits your network can have. For an introduction to the topic, check out the blog (http://www.nadineriopel.com/you-keep-using-that-word-the-true-meaning-of-networking/).

As always, our activities will never be silly or humiliating, just simple exercises that give us a topic and/or framework to get introduced and start talking.

After the activity is done, we will have a short group debrief to provide feedback about it - we might love some of them, we might hate some of them. This feedback will be extremely helpful to me (Nadine) in my facilitation work.

Then, everyone will be welcome to stay and keep talking, or call it a day. It's entirely up to each person.

We are committed to creating a space where everyone feels comfortable and able to connect with one another in a meaningful and productive way. If you feel for any reason that this goal is being compromised, please speak to one of us so we can address the problem.
