What we’re about

The YEG WP Meetup (wpyeg.org) is a local group of WordPress users in the Edmonton metro area who gather monthly to share our interests, curiosity, questions, and learning.** We’re makers, creators, developers, designers, writers, editors, publishers, marketing consultants, agency owners, freelancers, hobbyists, and enthusiasts who use WordPress to get things done on the open web. All WordPress Meetups are open to anyone and everyone, regardless of age, background, or ability.

If you’d like to network or talk shop, we’re also on LinkedIn, Dev Edmonton Society (DES) (Slack), and Edmonton Startup Community (Slack).

You can join the global teams that build and maintain WordPress, as an open-source software project and community, by creating an account at make.wordpress.org and wordpress.slack.com.
