Join us for the second meetup event for Educelerate Twin Cities--a holiday gathering and discussion on the “K-12 Digital Curriculum Markets”. Leading our discussion will be:
· Todd Brekhus, CEO of Capstone Digital. Todd leads the digital product vision and strategy for Capstone Digital. He was previously VP and chief marketing officer for PLATO Learning, president and COO of Learning Elements, and Education Program director for MCI WorldCom, where he helped build and implement the renowned Marco Polo program. He spent eight years in education as a teacher, department chair and technology director.
· Mark Garrison, Director of Technology for White Bear Lake Area Schools. Mark is an innovative educator and a passionate advocate for technology in education. Garrison earned a Masters in Learning Technologies at the University of Minnesota. He is also a Google Certified Teacher and was named one of 15 Youtube Star Teachers in 2011. His varied education background spans 20 years focused on upper elementary in addition to First Grade Reading, Middle School Music, Art and PE, High School Wood Shop and Instructional Technology Support and District Leadership.

The event will be from 5:30 - 7:00 pm on December 16th at the Local (10th St. and Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis) in the Sanctuary room (back corner). The roundtable discussion led by our panel will begin approximately 5:45 and last for 35-45 minutes.
