In The Power we start with the world as a recognizable place where Roxy, Tunde, Margot, and Allie have relatively normal lives. But something extraordinary happens: a sudden widespread manifestation of “electrostatic power” in women. The consequences of this new twist in evolution are far-reaching. What this does to the world we will learn in this fiction novel from the award-winning author Naomi Alderman.
