Holiday Caroling at Merwick Care and Rehabilitation Center
There is no better way to feel the joy of the season than sharing your time and holiday spirit with others. It is time for EAMC's 8th annual holiday trip to the Merwick Care and Rehabilitation Center. Merwick is a long term care facility where the residents are recovering from illness and accidents or are receiving long term nursing care. The staff and residents always look forward to EAMC's visit and the music that we share. You won't find a more appreciative audience. Here is the plan: Strolling and Caroling through the facility will start at 1:00pm. We can bring some holiday love to patients who are bedbound. Our programmed performance will begin at 2:00 and will wrap up by 3:45. Here's a link to a shared folder "Merwick 2017" with individual chord charts from last years event created by Fil Wisneski along with "Welcome Christmas" added by John Abbot. I've also added pdfs of the lyric sheets in large type that we pass out to the residents, plus pdfs copies of my own Christmas song book. If there are other carols that you would like to add, please email me a pdf copy at [masked] and I will be happy to upload. Bring your family and friends to join in the celebration. Santa caps, reindeer antlers, ugly Xmas sweaters, jingle bells and holiday spirit are also most welcome. Contact Steven Georges, Sue Albert with questions.

What we're about

EAMC is over 500 music-loving members from Central New Jersey and Eastern PA. We perform, we share our skills, we learn, and teach; and some just come to listen.

We are a community of musicians centered in the Princeton area. We offer and organize multiple Open Mics and events each month. Our goal, first and foremost, is to provide opportunities for musicians of all kinds and skill levels to hone their chops, present their creations, or just enjoy performing. Unplugged or plugged in. Mainstream, eclectic, acoustic or electric.

Although most of our members represent the more common genres of folk and rock, we have enjoyed performers presenting everything from Opera to Barbershop to Peruvian Folk instruments. Classical, a cappella, and choral. When we say everyone is welcome… it is not a catch line; and we have hosted some wonderful surprises from some incredibly talented artist.

We consider our venues not only player friendly; but safe spaces for developing musicians. No TV’s and hockey games over your head while you play. If you like to be listened to, and in turn enjoy listening to other musicians play we present an environment for that experience. This creates the ideal conditions for meeting other players to collaborate with, share ideas and learn from.
