Randy's annual birthday ride gets one mile longer again! And this year we'll be riding on Martin Luther King Day (since the weather forecast looks pretty good that day).

Meet at his house, 316 Arboles, at 7:30 a.m. -- we'll roll out at 7:45. We'll head across Transmountain, then up to Anthony Gap. We'll take the rollers down to Vinton, head through the Upper Valley to NM 28/McNutt, ride up Airport and down Artcraft. returning via Westside Drive to the Limbird home, where pizza and beer await. Total of 64 miles with about 3,000 feet of elevation gain.

We will have rest stops at the top of Transmountain and Anthony Gap, so you can take off extra layers and have coffee or something else to drink and a snack.

Pace on flat portions will be about 17-20 mph. Climb at your own pace.

FYI: You can shorten the ride to about 50 miles by heading straight back after descending Anthony Gap. Just don't eat all the pizza or drink all the beer if you get to the house before everyone else.
