Wednesday Night Rides

• `What: Wednesday Night Rides have been a tradition in the Upper Valley for over 25 years. We're posting this to encourage everyone to give it a try! Feel free to RSVP and post a comment if you want to let people know when you're riding, where you're leaving from and what pace you think you will ride.

• Meet: There is no official time to start, but riders leaving from River Run will start about 5:30ish, and riders from Rio Plaza will leave 5:45-6:00

LEADERLESS, ALL RIDERS - ALL SPEEDS - Please note: This is not a Club sponsored ride, therefore, there is no ride leader on these Wednesday night rides. You should know the route before heading out.

• Distance: 23 miles when begin at River Run Plaza, 1071 Country Club OR

19 miles if begin at Rio Plaza, 6205 Upper Valley Rd (at Artcraft). The route is a

loop to Gadsden H.S. via Borderland, Strahan, Bosque, N. Vinton, Westside,

Washington to Gadsden H.S., Return South on Hwy 28 to McNutt, then South

on Gato to Morrill to Cocula to Upper Valley to Country Club.

• Optional: Dinner afterward at Hello Pizza, 1071 Country Club Rd. BYOB.

• Comment: Riders of all abilities, solo, pairs or groups, leisure pace or test

your ability against some of the top riders in our area, reaching average speeds of

24 mph.

• Parking Notice:

River Run Plaza has lots of free parking.

Parking at Rio Valley Plaza is limited to the dirt strip on East side of Upper

Valley Rd., across from the shopping center. Do not park in the Parking Lot!
