Talk #1: "Elasticsearch as (only) datastore: How-to integrate it to existing project (and leave everything else)" by Tomas Sirny
Tomas Sirny (https://www.linkedin.com/profile/view?id=134214247) is mainly Python developer preferring back-end world with slight interest in data mining and automated infrastructure systems. He has started with Elasticsearch at movie recommendation service SynopsiTv developing whole "advanced search". Now building marketing and communication service Reactor.
Talk # 2 "Elasticsearch at Cloudfounry" by Johannes Tuchscherer
Are you running a big platform and a gazillion of apps and do you wonder what to do with all your logs? Then you should join Johannes, who will share his experience with elasticsearch at Pivotal and Cloud Foundry for indexing log messages.
Johannes Tuchscherer (https://www.linkedin.com/in/jtuchscherer) is a developer at heart, Johannes is working as a Community Advocate for CloudFoundry from his home in Munich. His mission is to spread the word about CloudFoundry and to help people understand and optimize its use. He loves talking about code, architecture, and the new powers brought to the developer by using a PaaS like CloudFoundry. He started working with and for CloudFoundry as an engineer in Boulder, Colorado, on the team responsible for Logging and Metrics. Just recently he moved to Munich with his family and his new mission.
If you wish to find out more about CloudFoundry (http://www.cloudfoundry.org/index.html), there is a great opportunity to do so the next day after 5th of March! Johannes will give you a great CloudFoundry start. https://www.meetup.com/CloudFoundry-Usergroup-Vienna/
As usually we will be sponsored by elasticsearch (http://www.elasticsearch.org/) and mimacom (http://www.mimacom.com/)!
If anyone's interested in giving a talk at a future meetup, I'd love to hear from you.
Contact me on the meetup site or twitter: @elasticvienna (https://twitter.com/i/notifications). See you soon!
Cheers,
Andrea
