The Elastic Stack 6.0 is just around the corner, so you might be wondering what is new, what got better, and how do I upgrade?

Machine Learning

In 2016 Elastic bought the company Prelert and integrated their machine learning features into the Elastic Stack. This talk gives a general overview of the features (anomaly detection of timeseries data) and how to use them in practice.
Caveat: Machine learning is a commercial plugin into the open source Elastic Stack.
