Welcome to Elgin RPG Group - New Organizers - Cleaning Up Calendar Meetups

As some of you know, this group has new organizers.  Instead of letting this group disappear, Jeff Bergen of the Elgin gaming store The Gaming Goat has stepped up to be the organizer of this group. Since he also runs his store's Meetup group, he's leaving it to other gamers in town to manage this one and maintain the meetups, so he's made me Co-Organizer.

As such, I'm going to try and open the group up to announce any public rpg gatherings in or around Elgin.  So, feel free to suggest new meetups to announce your own games, or update us on existing games on the schedule that are no longer valid.

Expect more info and more meetups to be scheduled in the coming weeks, including the D&D Lair Assaults starting in September.

I'm also trying to go through and clean up the calendar to make sure all of the meetups are still current.

I added a recurring Weds D&D Encounters Meetup for the Gaming Goat, and a recurring Thursday night meetups for the EAGLES rpg group.

Does anyone know if the Saturday D&D meetups, and the Sunday Gamma World meetups still active? I've heard second hand that they are cancelled, at least for the time being.  Since we have new members showing interest in them, if they are not currently meeting, I am going to remove them from the calendar.  They can be added back later.

And if anyone wants to add their own, public games to the calendar, either use the 'Suggest a Meetup' function for a single game, or post the details in a message here and I can set up a recurring Meetup.
