new season of Encounters, The Elder Elemental Eye

As the village of Easting weathers an outbreak of the abyssal plague, brave adventurers track down the mad villains responsible for spreading it. The investigation leads to an underground temple of Ghaunadaur, the god of oozes and slimes. When the heros descend into the temple's nightmarish depths, they quickly learn there's more going on than meets the eye.

Characters are built at 1st level from these sources: Heros of the Elemental Chaos, Heros of the Fallen Lands, and Heros of the Forgotten Kingdoms. You can also use the Character Builder on the Dungeons and Dragons Insider website after it has been updated to the new season of Encounters.

Races allowed are dragonborn, drow, dwarf, eladrin, elf, half-elf, half-orc, human, and tiefling. Also due to this season's strong elemental theme, a player may also select genasi as a race (as outlined in the Forgotten Realms Player's Guide).

Wednesday Feburary 22nd is character creation night with the first night of play the following Wednesday and then every Wednesday thereafter starting at 6:30pm and lasting until 8pm or so. This season runs a total of 12 weeks including the character creation night.

Jack Kessler and myself will be running the tables this season and if need be I can always open another table up with another DM. Tables are always open and we fill them as players show-up at each session and you are free to play with whichever table/group you would like.

Any questions, please email me at [address removed].

And remember-there might be treasure,
