Details

Come on out and join Indy Tech Talks at Union 525 (http://union525.com/) to learn about Incrementally Adopting Apollo and GraphQL in an Ember.js application.

There are many benefits of using Apollo and GraphQL, but making the switch can feel daunting when working with an enterprise application. Doing the work all at once is time-consuming and costly, and often times won't align with business realities. But there's an incremental approach you can take. Come join us as two Senior Software Engineers walk you through their real-world full-stack solution.

A big thanks to Greenlight Guru (www.greenlight.guru) for providing the food and space for the evening. We'll enjoy delicious food from Nameless Catering (www.namelesscatering.com), the preferred caterer for Indy's tech community.

Apollo and GraphQL Presenters:

Adam Davis (https://www.linkedin.com/in/adamjoeldavis/)

Adam is a Senior Software Engineer at Greenlight Guru and has been an avid technologist for over a decade. He's spent most of his career working in the medical software field and is passionate about solutions that improve people's health and quality of life. Outside of work he's a cinephile and video game enthusiast.

Patrick McGill (https://www.linkedin.com/in/patrick-mcgill-5ab709b8/)

Patrick is a Senior Software Engineer at Greenlight Guru. He’s an EmberJS MVW(hatever) developer by day, FRP observable fanboy by night. He enjoys biking to work on really cold days, and has been known to make a dad joke from time to time.

We expect space to fill up quickly.
