Ember changes. It's more stable than many alternatives, but it changes nevertheless. Ideally, changes in Ember can happen under the hood without requiring any immediate changes to your code base. However, in order to use the latest and greatest features in Ember, sometimes you need to introduce completely new syntax into your existing code base.
This is where codemods can really come in handy. Luckily, the Ember community has created some great codemods to make migrating your apps to use newer Ember features a breeze. In this talk, we'll review some of the codemods that already exist and dive into some of the scenarios where you might want to reach for one. We'll also show you how you can create your own codemods for refactors that are specific to your application.
