This group will have a short presentation, some guided meditations (moving and seated), and a discussion period. THEME: What does it mean to be present? (Definitions of presence and mindfulness; foundational attitudes that support mindfulness; what Mindfulness is NOT; how presence supports kindness and compassion; how mindfulness can be a part of everyday life) PRACTICES: Mindful movement (qigong), Mindfulness of breathing DISCUSSION: What areas of my life would benefit from more presence?

What we're about

In this group, we will explore the ideas, principles, and practices related to the Mindfulness, Kind Intention, and Qigong (a meditative movement practice). Each meeting will feature a topic, some guided practice, and a discussion period.
