What we're about
We are a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, are fervently competitive (a yearly event on a regional level); we perform for public and private functions and present a full-blown show production (also on a yearly basis). We meet weekly for rehearsals and are led by two extremely talented directors that are dedicated to our success!
Emerald City Chorus invites female singers that are seeking an outlet for their singing talents. Women who sang in high school and college and gave it up when they began their families have found that this is truly the perfect place to renew their desire to sing. The directors, Judy Alterman and Dana Evans are both excellent musical instructors knowledgeable in the art of barbershop singing and you will literally "learn" something new every week be it breathing techniques or sound production and so much more.
You must come check us out some Monday evening - any Monday evening (except holidays) at 7:00pm. You won't be disappointed. You'll be delighted! So will we!
Meet at: Southwest Presbyterian Church, Scott Hall, 1511 W. 27th St. South, Wichita, KS 67217
