What we're about

Our kids have flown the coop! I'm Angela-45 & my husband David-47. We will have co-ed, women's only & men's only & even family activities. Most activities will be centrally located for convenience for all OR & SW WA members.

Who should join? Individuals or couples (married/unmarried), singles, soon to be or wish you were empty nesters. People who haven't had children, adoptive & step parents too. You can even join us if you feel you should be an empty nester ha-ha (sometimes they don't move out right away). Everyone from all walks of life & ages are welcome.

We have all kinds of things planned from varying activities, interests, prices ranging from free to some more spendy things, indoor & some outdoor. We will probably start out with mostly movies, dinners, lunches, Food carts & brunches, coffee times at first till we get rolling. We'll have individual events & re-occurring. We will be trying to accommodate different schedules. My husband works, so his time is limited, my schedule is a little more open.

Future activities could end up being: picnics, potlucks, bbq's, game nights, events, tours, outings, museums, walking, festivals, fairs, camping, day trips, shopping (outlets, resale, garage sales), kayaking, trivia, etc...

We are looking forward to getting to know you & having some of you be event organizers to do some of the things that maybe we aren't able to go do with our personal schedule, or doesn't fit to our interests...but would love for you to go have fun and do. Like biking, hiking, antiquing, book club, happy hour, theater/plays, sports events, fishing, golfing, karaoke, crafts, scrapbooking, etc...
(we personally don't drink, but others can set up those activities).

RSVP's are encouraged :-) We will be able to check those up until the event starts, we will be contactable as well. A few events are limited space available (with waiting lists), but most things are pretty flexible.

We haven't decided on membership dues, I like the idea of having a donation envelope at the events (to help aide in the cost of our membership fees, name tags, bbq supplies, etc...)

There will be events that you will incur costs (we will try to give you guys as much advance warning about those) such as: entrance or cover charges, parking, tipping (strongly encouraged). Restaurants automatically add to checks a gratuity fee. Make sure you don't tip them twice. :-)

This is not a networking club for promoting your business.

The organizer reserves the right to terminate any membership at any time.
