Emtb702 is a group of ELECTRIC ASSIST MOUNTAIN BIKE ENTHUSIASTS in the Las Vegas valley. The group is open to all levels of riders. The focus will be on all levels of single track riding from beginner to expert but there will also be leisurely rides on paved trails occasionally. If you are interested in the sport and would like more information, you are welcome to come early to one of our events and our members will gladly help you with any questions.
Three feet for Pete Safety Ride Fundraiser, please follow this link for complete event information http://www.threefeetforpete.com/ There is a $20 donation that must be paid to the event organizers for this ride. Registration starts at 6am and the ride begins at 7am. The ride will travel south on Las Vegas Blvd. to Jean, NV and back. The course is an out and back route that consists of approximately 25 flat to rolling miles. Any type of bike will do and there are plenty of early turn around spots in case you want to cut your ride short. Helmets are required for all riders. The majority of the course is closed off to all traffic. The first mile, leading up to the Sloan turnoff is open. You must obey all traffic rules for the first mile. Road closures begin at the Sloan turnoff. Helmets are mandatory. The first mile is open to traffic up to the Sloan turnoff. There will be law enforcement and ride marshals to guide riders to the Sloan turn off where full road closure begins. Long course: Approximately 28 miles from Camping World to Jean, NV and back.
Short course: Approximately 16 miles from Camping World to half way point turn around.
