#EndHomelessness Digital Community Meet Up

• Who?
We're looking for Social Media Wizards, Comms & Marketing Gurus, Developers, UX Designers, and anyone else who wants to help the homeless community!

• What?
During the event you will be making improvements to the StreetSupport.net website. These are crucial to ensuring people facing homelessness can access the help they need. This includes blog posts, news articles, database updates, website improvements and redesigning pages - all things to keep the website slick and helpful!

• How?
We get started at roughly 6:30pm, with a kickoff chat by Viv Slack (co-founder of StreetSupport.net). Following this the teams break off into their own spaces to start working on tickets drawn from the Trello Boards. If you're new, have a chat to one of the team and we'll be able to help you get set up and buddy you up with the relevant team. We work through tasks for a couple of hours (there's pizza and snacks to keep you going!) before reconvening for a debrief and retrospective.

• I'm new! What do I do?
If it's your first time at one of these events, we encourage you to arrive early to meet the team and to start getting set up. We're a friendly bunch so you'll receive a warm welcome, we can't wait to meet you and have you as part of the team!
