Since the onset of the Coronavirus pandemic businesses all over the world have been thrust into remote work. From the position of a small but growing trend, remote work has suddenly become the everyday reality for almost every knowledge worker in the world. It doesn’t appear to be ending soon and some cultural changes will surely remain long after the virus has receded.

As the World’s largest fully remote company, with over 1200 employees in more than 65 countries and not an office in sight, GitLab has years of experience building a successful, high-growth business and a market-leading product in this unique environment. We believe that remote is the future of work.

The next Engineering Management, Ireland meetup will be a virtual one over Zoom on 2020-05-12 at 7pm. As a member of GitLab I'll host but contributions are welcome from everyone. A link to the Zoom call will be sent to you when you RSVP. The agenda is a Google Doc and contains links to a number of resources GitLab have made available to help others with Remote work.

If you’re part of the knowledge economy in Ireland adapting to remote work this is an opportunity to ask us anything. If you’ve experienced remote already and have suggestions please share those.
