Why are you interested in The Age of Enlightenment?

The Enlightenment presented mankind with optimism, curiosity, and confidence in itself that seems buried under cynicism, distraction, and worst of all, political correctness today. Are we living in a new Dark Age? Is it possible to start a new Enlightenment? I don't think I will get definite answers on these questions, but learning about the ideas of that era might be a first step towards reclaiming and reviving a spirit of entrepreneurship, honesty and courage. That is what I want from this meetup.

I have a lot of books on my Nook! :-) I always loved reading, but I noticed I have to create space for reading in my schedule, otherwise it will simply not happen.

What Rachel B. is saying about this Meetup Group

Smart people who are not afraid to read books and talk about new ideas they have learnt.
