After The Storm Women's Support Group

Mattison Crossing at Manalapan Avenue

After The Storm Women’s Support Group Hi Storm Girls This months meeting is going to be all about mental strength. But what is mental strength or mental fitness? Having a healthy and strong mind allows you to handle the challenges and opportunities that life puts in front of you. Mental strength /fitness means that you regulate your emotions, manage your thoughts, and behave in a positive manner, despite your circumstances. Developing mental strength is about finding the courage to live according to your values and being bold enough to create your own definition of success.Mental strength involves more than just willpower; it requires hard work and commitment. It’s about establishing healthy habits and choosing to devote your time and energy to self-improvement. Research is starting to reveal that your mental toughness — or “grit” as they call it — plays a more important role than anything else for achieving your goals in health, business, and life. That’s good news because you can’t do much about the genes you were born with, but you can do a lot to develop mental toughness. Hope lots of you will be able to join us as Ellen and I try to help you find your own track to mental fitness! If you have any questions please don't hesitate to email us at [masked]. Jill AFTER THE STORM Learning to not only survive but thrive in the aftermath of a divorce or loss of a life partner This group is free and open to all women trying to move forward in their lives. We hope to provide a supportive environment that will provide open discussions along with tools and techniques to help women raise their sense of self. This will be a place where women can laugh and cry together, a place where shattered self esteem can start to heal, and growth and renewal will start to take place. A place to reinvent yourself. Those of us who are further down the path will inspire new members. For questions please email us at: [masked]
