Our sole purpose is to encourage, support and connect female business owners who have either stepped out from the comfort of their 9 to 5 or have decided to explore the avenue of entrepreneurship. So, whether you are a sole proprietor, direct sales consultant, independent contractor, freelancer or any other type of entrepreneur; seasoned or new at owning a business, our mission is to create a forum for women to connect and grow their businesses. We invite you to join other overachievers, late-nighters, grinders, hustle-go'ers and the like. So whether you are stepping out in your first pair of Ninewest or you are Louboutin status, you are definitely welcomed!

In keeping with the original creation, Entrepreneur in High Heels will provide opportunities for women in business to network, share successful strategies, to help each grow their businesses, and to collaborate and expand their network to include the female entrepreneurs throughout the DC, MD, VA, and NC areas. We are looking for women entrepreneurs who are committed to excellence and dedicated to growing in business.

This Meetup Group will be highly active and there will be plenty of opportunities for successful women to connect. Take a look at what we have in store:

• Small Business Clinics - Exchange of business professionals who want to participate in hands-on creation or critiques sessions for your website, marketing materials, social media presence, and free cloud based business tools.
• Broken Heel Convos - Monthly conference calls of encouragement and realness. We will have special guest hosts and if you are interested in hosting, we would love to have you.
  
• Closed-Door Sole Series - An opportunity for business owners to reveal their real business challenges in an unfiltered way. This group will be small and intimate.
  
• Business Workshops - This is an opportunity to participate, present or promote your business. We will attend or host business workshops, networking events, and lunch n learns.
  
• Barefoot Fridays - Created to be more social in nature it is for business women who want to also connect on a social level
