This is a monthly "mastermind" meetup for people who are or who want to start and run entrepreneurial organizations. We'll look to have experts on relevant topics, but also to bring problems to the group to get its input.
It's for three groups mainly: current entrepreneurs and start-up leaders, would-be entrepreneurs and successful and former entrepreneurs who can provide guidance and insight.
This is a special session about not 'nailing it' during the Covid crisis. In our last mastermind, we spent some time hearing from people about their 'pivots' during the pandemic, and it sounded like a highlight reel, as if this is easy.
But it's not, and so I felt it was very important for us to talk about that. Entrepreneurship and value creation are hard enough, but there's a new dimension now.
So we're going to do a special session, and I'm not 100% sure how it's going to go, BUT here's what we're going to do.
I'm going to share some extended thoughts on the subject of entrepreneurial thinking in a crisis. I don't know everything, but I may be able to lend a perspective that's helpful.
From there, I'd like to invite people to talk through their own situations and struggles during this time. Just a few minutes, and there's no need to reveal anything you don't want to reveal. I also want to say that we will NOT try to fix your problems or talk you into cheering up. If you have anything specific you'd like to ask, the group will be there for you on that.
So if you'd like to be one of the people who speaks up, message me on Meetup. If we don't get to everybody, we'll do another of these sessions.
It's not our usual format, but I felt it was an important thing to offer.
