Discordian College: Principles of Principia Discordia and Hot Dog Workshop

Eristic Association in Turku presents the second meeting for the Discordian College! We shall discuss the principles of Principia Discordia: what is the background for this work, what should you at least know about it and what kinds of perspectives do readers have towards the book? We shall perform a practical Principia Discordia event at Posankka statue and partake of a hot dog workshop afterwards.

The event is free, but if you want to participate in the workshop, bring something, anything, you want to eat in your hot dog and offer for others to eat too. What does your dream hot dog include and what is the significance to you?

The Discordian College of the Eristic Association of Turku will organize education in Modern Erisism. We organize courses in thought control, cerebration of chaos, the superiority of disorder, dealing with confusion, bureaucratic interpretation and collateral considerations.

Starting this October we will organize a introductory course in Discordianism, Erisism and associated conventions. The events will consist of lectures and discussion forums as well as workshops on practical Erisianism.

In the course you will learn such Discordian basics as fnord and why 2+3=5. You will learn about Principia Discordia and the history of how it all got started. You will also be taught practices such as being the Pope of your personal life, introduced to Discordian symbolism and art (-----><-----) and how the Discordian society sticks apart. You will meet distinguished people and receive your very own Pope Card. You will also be introduced to the different Discordian and Eristic movements inside Finland.

The events are free of charge but donations are welcome for supporting the Discordian College and the activities of the Eristic Association of Turku in general. The workshops may include a fee for the materials. You can also join the association.
