Rearchitecting with OTP

Have you ever thought of dumping out your old code and start again? Even using the same language, just with more principles you've acquired while working with the app?

Join us at Zendesk, where Mustafa Turan (https://www.meetup.com/Erlang-Ireland/members/55953692/) will guide us through this exact process, explaining how planning from the ground up with single responsibility principle (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Single_responsibility_principle) helps. He'll also demonstrate the difference it makes writing a Elixir application with a 'classic' architecture, and then building the same one using OTP (http://erlang.org/doc/design_principles/users_guide.html) principles.

About Mustafa Turan:

Mustafa is a backend engineer in Zendesk, working with Ruby and Scala, and exploring Elixir. Find out more about his programming chops on GitHub (http://github.com/mustafaturan).

P.S. We always welcome lightning talks (~10 mins topics), if you have something you'd like to share, let us know here, or over on twitter (https://twitter.com/erlangireland) and we'll facilitate it.
