June Eid Escape to THE COMOROS: Beauty Off the Beaten Path!!

https://escape-travels.com/trip/the-comoros-islands-299/ - For all trip details! Eid Holiday in The Comoros Eid Al Fitr is the second most important holiday in the Islamic calendar. It celebrates the end of the fasting month of Ramadan and everyone will get 3 days off work! This year Eid will fall on Tuesday June 4th which means everyone will have Tuesday to Saturday holiday. The perfect amount of time to explore Grande Comore, the largest island in the little visited Comoros nation. Comoros Islands at a Glance Ask your friends to point out the Comoros Islands on a map and they might be stumped, but once you’ve visited this pristine archipelago, you’ll never be able to forget the islands’ breathtaking appeal. The Comoros Islands sit off the African coast in the Indian Ocean, near Madagascar. Sometimes referred to as “the perfumed islands” due to the abundant fragrant plant life and natural beauty, the volcanic Comoros Islands receive few tourists — for now. This is one tropical escape you’ll want to see before the rest of the world catches on to what they’re missing! Luckily, our itinerary shows you the best of the best of these jaw-droppingly gorgeous islands. Cost : Twin / Double Room:$1,680 per person (with flights) $1,150 (without flights) Single room supplement is $200 Visa Nationals of any country can obtain a visa on arrival. Visa fees are US$ 50 Accommodation: Golden Tulip Grande Comore Moroni Resort & Spa For Full Detailed Itinerary Click Below: https://www.escape-travels.com/trips/detail/comoros_beauty_off_the_beaten_path/299 Trip Itinerary Day 1 – Tuesday, June 4th: Arrival & Relaxation - (D) Feel all your cares melt away as soon as you arrive at our Comorian accommodations for the next five days. Our resort & spa is home for this itinerary and you’ll easily see why we picked this as our basecamp for our Comoros Islands adventures. The lovely resort sits right on the aquamarine waters, with its own white sand beach and airy guest rooms. Day 2 – Wednesday, June 5th: Uncovering History + Unwind on Your Own - (B, L, D) Dive in to the Comoros culture with a tour of Moroni, the islands’ capital city. Uncover the history of this magnificent spot on the map, the name of which translates to “in the heart of the fire.” After lunch, it’s time to unwind, but you’ll have a tough decision to make. Should you lounge about in the sun on Mitsamiouli Beach, easily the best stretch of sand on the island, or hike up to Lac Salé, known as the “bottomless” salt lake, a unique geographical feature boasting perfect ocean views? The choice is all yours, but you won’t be disappointed with either! Day 3 – Thursday, June 6th: Culture or a Climb - (B, L) In the middle of our Comoros Islands itinerary, you’ll get to choose between two amazing day-long activities. You can either spend Thursday climbing up Mount Karthala, an active volcano that’s a bit of a challenge even for experienced hikers, or exploring the culture, flora and fauna of the island, with activities hosted by the locals. For the former, you’re sure to enjoy stellar sites of both the volcano and the surrounding scenery; for the latter, you can expect to learn and play right next to residents of the Village of Ntsaouéni, as they weave coconut fronds, prepare traditional Comorian dishes and teach you about the local flora and fauna. We know what you’re already thinking, though — when can I return? https://escape-travels.com/trip/the-comoros-islands-299/ See ya on the island!
