Details
---Sponsored by Social Alpha Foundation and InvestHK---
Please join us for an evening with visitor Aparna Krishnan, co-Head of Education at Blockchain at Berkeley. Blockchain at Berkeley is the premier student-run Blockchain club and consultancy in the United States, with experience publishing white papers, crypto-economic modelling, research, and even executive education for Fortune 500 companies like Boeing.
In this meetup, Aparna will introduce the fundamental elements of crypto-economic design, the balance of cryptography, economics, game theory, and code that underpins token economies.
She will also introduce Blockchain at Berkeley's history, and share her experiences as a student entrepreneur in the heart of the US Blockchain community, and how high school and University students in Hong Kong may follow B@B's lead to create their own Blockchain clubs.
A panel discussion will follow, featuring Aparna, Nydia Zhang (Chairman, Social Alpha Foundation), a HKUST faculty member, and moderated by Jehan Chu (Kenetic).
Hope you can join us for this very special evening. Please note this evening was made possible by a grant from Social Alpha Foundation (socialalphafoundation.org). **note - Aparna will be available to visit various HK University students/student groups to train on how to start their own Blockchain clubs; if you know students that would like to learn from Blockchain at Berkeley please email: info@socialalphafoundation.org
