Our meetup consists of a simple format: 2 or 3 presentations from respected speakers at each meetup, all selected very carefully. We do not allow self-promotion or financial promotion at the meetup (if you wish to promote yourself, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for sponsorship packages)
Note that we operate a strict zero tolerance policy toward any form of harassment during our events, treat all incidents seriously and promptly investigate all allegations of harassment and take the necessary action. RSVPs do not guarantee entry and known bad actors will be asked to leave.
Finally, note that this meetup is not related to any organization, foundation, company or product. We are 100% privately-run and stay committed to promoting a community that's entirely blockchain and technology agnostic.
Ethereum is a platform and programming language that makes it possible for any developer to build and publish next-generation decentralized applications. In short: Ethereum is the web, without the web servers.
Ethereum can be used to codify, decentralize, secure and trade just about anything: voting, domain names, financial exchanges, crowdfunding, company governance, contracts and agreements of most kind, intellectual property, and even smart property thanks to hardware integration.
