NewEra is a blockchain-enabled Carbon Credits Certification protocol that seeks to solve the inefficiencies in today's carbon emissions market. The protocol has two parts with (1) an issuance of a new blockchain-enabled Carbon Credit, and (2) a token to incentivize carbon-friendly behavior.

Carbon emissions is an industry that could be unfamiliar to the masses, but yet an important issue that many corporations are tackling. In June 2017, our city-state, Singapore reaffirmed our commitment to the Paris Agreement and its pledge to reduce emissions intensity and stabilize emissions.
