In this meetup, our favorite philosopher/developer Simon Belak (now at Metabase) will tell us about crypto beyond finance:

Cryptocurrencies change everything, right? But how? In this talk we will try to think beyond "money 2.0", beyond finance even, and look at how cryptocurrencies have the potential to upturn decision making, governance, and (self-)organization. Join me on a wild ride jumping from the history of the corporation, to the divergence of cryptocurrencies as epitomized by Bitcoin and Ethereum, with stops at DAOs, hyperbitcoinization, infrastructure, and the future of software development in between.
