The DAO - Democratizing Deals, Riling Regulators, or a Hacker’s Haven?

Details
The DAO promises to democratize the process of investing in and running businesses. How are regulators thinking about this new technology? What are the legal implications of the recent hack? Come listen to two experts discuss the legal and regulatory issues facing the various participants in The DAO, from curators, to contractors, to investors, as well as issues posed by the recent hack.
The discussion will be led by Grant Fondo, a former federal prosecutor who represented Sand Hill Exchange in its settlement with the SEC and a leading digital currency company in the first ever FinCEN settlement and a companion DOJ settlement, and Cindy McAdam, former GC of Xapo and identified by Fortune magazine as one of the prominent female voices in the bitcoin industry. They are co-chairs of Goodwin Procter’s Blockchain and Digital Currency practice.
We also plan to have a short technical recap of recent events before Grant and Cindy talk, including the proposed hard fork.
