Virtual Documentary Night: We Are Many
Details
YOU MUST WATCH THE FILM ON YOUR OWN BEFORE THE EVENT
Link to the film is in the info below.
For Virtual Documentary Night we are meeting to talk about the documentary, We Are Many. In 2003, up to 30 million people, many of whom had never demonstrated before in their lives, came out in nearly 800 cities around the world to protest against the impending Iraq War. Here is a link to where you can watch it for free. https://tubitv.com/movies/641980/we_are_many This is a Voting Night, which means at the end of the night we brainstorm and vote to decide as a group what we will watch the following month, so please come with recommendations. If you need any ideas, you can search through the flyers HERE on our website.
Again, you must watch the film on your before the event. We will be meeting over Zoom, where we will break out into small discussion groups. We will do multiple rounds of small group discussion, then close out the night with larger group discussion. The Zoom information is listed below.

This event is hosted in collaboration with multiple meetup groups, including the Atlanta Social Friends, Austin Documentary Fans, Atlanta Volunteer Meetup, the Ethical Humanists of Atlanta, Sunday Assembly Atlanta, and the Vegan Social Club. Therefore those in attendance will be from varying backgrounds and beliefs. This is in order to provide an opportunity to hear a wide range of perspectives.
This event is open to all who are open to all. The one thing we ask is that people allow others to get their full thought out and that any disagreement is voiced in a civil way. You can check out the Community Documentary Night website for more info or links to previously shown documentaries.
Thank you and hope to see you there!
