What's happening at our v9.0 meetup:

Evansville has an emerging opportunity to establish co-working space.

We'll be meeting in one potential co-work space in the basement of Innovation Pointe ( great feel in this room, like the Speakeasy linked below - no spiders, promise) to brainstorm local options.

Join us at this meetup to help chart the course toward Evansville's own co-working space.

Thanks to our friends at G.A.G.E. - Free Pizza and Soft Drinks. B.Y.O.B. if you want something a little stronger.

For those of us a little fuzzy about what defines co-working space, consider these common attributes:

High Speed Internet Connection Comfortable Work Space Low cost to users Think Starbucks or a public library

Many spaces take it up a couple of notches. Some provide shared meeting and conference rooms. Many focus on an environment leveraging collaboration between users. Many also serve as a community center for Innovation Events like Tech on Tap.

Co-working spaces appeal to individuals and early stage companies because of their, innovation energy, low cost, flexibility and other attributes

There is no standard for co-working space. Have a look at these links for two Indy interpretations of co-working space.
