Participate in the Southwest ISBDC's New Program - FranFit. FranFit, a joint venture between the ASBDC and FranNet, delivers free, nationwide educational assistance to boost the economic development of local business growth. Participants are invited to complete the Business Evaluation and Suitability Test (B.E.S.T.) -an assessment used to assist potential business owners to identify those business models that are "best fit" and the initial step in the FranFit process. B.E.S.T. inventories preferences: values and motives, preferred work and leadership styles, core competencies and overall best suited. Assessments are taken in advanced (approx. 20min completed online) and results are confidentially returned online. Our workshop will provide assessment interpretation-identify significant responses and pertinent characteristics to be mindful of moving forward in business ownership. Once your B.E.S.T is complete, our next step is to develop a business module applicable to your values and preferences. Spouses/partners or potential business partners are welcome to participate together. FranNet Consultant, Mark Roger, will be available to meet one -on-one to develop a business model that incorporates assessment information and personal work preferences- and is the second step in the FranFit process. Our One on One consultations will assist in culmination information gathered and create an ideal, custom business model as a road map for those considering business ownership.
