What we're about

This is a meetup that helps promote unity4j events and all Julian Assange supporting events around the world. We parse and highlight events on a global scale and post up here to keep all events that support Julian Assange and Chelsea Manning in one place that is geared to support events.

Anyone who wants to help is welcome to join. You do not have to be an activist, journalist, or into politics. You just have to want to support a movement whose mission is for a peaceful end to a bad situation. We hold vigils, demonstrations, or marches for a peaceful end to a bad situation. We will meet at different locations to hold these meeting in support of Julian Assange and the Unity4J movement. We can also have meet and greets. We can also have phone meetings to discuss objectives and online or phone prayers. Please don't be camera shy. Please post a head shot of yourself. Since we are a 'meeting group', members need to see who is going so we can identify other members and for personal safety reasons.

The objective of this group is to obtain a peaceful end to Julian Assange's solitary confinement at Belmarsh Prison. To not have a US extradition by the UK or Sweden if he is extradited there and to HELP GET HIM SAFELY BACK HOME. We will petition and keep petitioning our elected officials via phone calls and mass media marketing and social media marketing and ask The White House and our President to help us meet the goals of this meetup group. We will also petition the Pope and ask the Catholic Church to intervene on behalf of Catholics and friends for Julian Assange's safety, freedom, and health care. All who join are safe and WELCOME! Please find out more about Julian Assange and his work here---> Unity4j Website. (https://unity4j.com/)
