IMPORTANT: Details on where we're meeting have been sent to all confirmed registrants. If you have not received this, please call or text me at (954)[masked] and I'll send you the link to the event information. Thanks!

We'll be marching with the Corgs in the parade at SF Pride!

We have never done this before, but are in the planning stages securing registration and insurance coverage for the event. Unlike our other Meetups, we will need to charge an admission fee to help offset the costs to participate in the parade.

We're also limiting the number of participants to 100. As the event draws closer, depending on interest we may increase capacity based on demand.

Everyone that registers will be able to walk with us in the parade, and will get an "Everyone Loves a Corgi" rainbow flag at the event.

The registration fee is $6 (Until 6/19/17, after which it will increase to $10) to participate, this fee helps offset the costs to register with Pride and cover the required liability insurance.

1. Parade length. The parade route is about a mile long along Market St. from Embarcadero to Civic Center.

2. Parade conditions. The parade is scheduled to start at 10:30am, but depending on our place in line it can be at least 1-2 hours waiting to walk in the parade. Please bring plenty of hydration and water for your Corgs. Weather depending, it may get pretty hot.

*** The Pride committee has indicated that they do account for contingents marching with children and animals, so we ought to be able to start the march before peak temperatures hit the route! I'm VERY relieved to get this news from them! ***

3. Guests. You can register up to one additional guest, your registration fee will increase accordingly.

4. Refunds. Refunds are not being provided if you're not able to make the event.

5. Release of liabilities. By registering yourself (and your guest if applicable) by RSVP'ing for this event, attendees are agreeing to the following conditions throughout the event:

• Responsible for the actions of their Corgis.

• Responsible for any property damage caused by their Corgis.

• Responsible for ensuring the welfare of their Corgis.

• Release event organizers of any liabilities associated with the above.

6. Parade documentation. Please review the required information to participate in the parade:

• San Francisco LGBT Pride Parade Contingent Instructions ( )

• Watch the Contingent training video (

) (approximately 10 minutes)

We are walking only, so you can ignore much of the information applies to wheeled contingents and vehicles.

Note: We are required to have 10 contingent monitors, these are individuals who help keep the group organized throughout the parade and sets the pace to ensure everyone keeps moving.

Please let me know if you'd be interested in volunteering as a contingent monitor, and I'll send you the quiz that needs to be completed online to confirm.
