What we're about

We aim to be your vegan (https://www.meetup.com/EveryoneVegan/about/) support group. Even if you're just exploring veganism or a plant-based diet, please feel free to attend these events. The only rule when attending an event for this group is that you eat vegan for the meetup. We want to keep this group as non-judgmental as possible. All are welcome!

Whether your reason for being (or considering becoming) vegan is for health, environment, animal welfare, or any of the other reasons, we're happy to have you in the group! Our goal is to create a community to support you on your veg journey.

Though we may promote the events of other groups in the Twin Cities, we have no direct affiliation with any other organizations.

If you RSVP "yes" to a MeetUp, please commit to attending. If you no-show 3 times, you will be removed from the group.

PSA: ARC + CAA Vegan 4th of July Potluck Picnic

This is a public service announcement about a great vegan event hosted by ARC and CAA and not a regular Everyone Vegan event. =================================== Animal Rights Coalition (ARC) and Compassionate Action for Animals (CAA) are teaming up for another vegan potluck picnic! Join us for an epic afternoon of vegan food and fun. All are welcome. Find us at the Wabun C pavilion at Minnehaha Park — rain or shine! Here’s what you can bring: If your last name begins with A-G: dessert If your last name begins with H-S: main dish If your last name begins with T-Z: beverage, side dish, or salad You are also welcome to bring something vegan for the grill. We’ll have a dedicated vegan grill available and volunteers who will help manage it. HUGE thanks to The Herbivorous Butcher for donating some of their delicious vegan brats and burgers for this potluck! Make sure that whatever you bring is completely vegan (no meat, fish, dairy, eggs, or honey) and will provide at least 8 servings. Please also bring a list of ingredients for your dish. We will have some serving utensils available, but you are encouraged to bring a serving utensil for your dish. Compostable plates, cups, and utensils will be provided, but we encourage you to bring your own to save on waste. Bring your omnivore friends, too! This is a great opportunity to introduce others to the awesomeness of vegan food and to our community. A few other things to keep in mind: - This is a family-friendly event. There’s a nearby playground, and we’ll have some fun activities such as volleyball, badminton, and other games. - Dogs are welcome! - Alcohol is not permitted. - Parking is limited. If you’re driving, leave yourself extra time to find a spot. Consider carpooling, using metro transit, or biking to get there. - Use Google Maps to find Wabun Picnic Area at Minnehaha Park. Note that it has a separate entrance from the park; it’s further east. - Arrive within the first hour for the best selection of food. More details: https://www.facebook.com/events/451301928746949/
