This event will be LIVE-ONLINE starting at 11:30 AM Central Standard Time.
In this lab, the Evolve Security team will cover the basics of password hashes, including explanations on the most commonly used hashing algorithms and how to find them. The team will also demonstrate how to identify unknown hash types. Finally, the team will discuss on how to leverage hashcat, wordlists, and rulesets to crack password hashes and recover plain text credentials.
This event is the third session of our four part Hacker's Toolkit series! Our brand new series will introduce you to several essential tools used by today's hacking community. These introductory workshops are open to cybersecurity practitioners and enthusiasts at all technical levels!
