Who is your favorite philosopher, and why?

I don't really have a favorite philosopher. Most of what I know about famous philosophers comes down to a quote or two that made history. I have also met people that no one would consider near as intelligent as those men but still have at least a few words that contend with that of famous philosophers so it's hard to choose one person above them all.

What attracted you to join this group?

I would like to meet those who have more experience and knowledge than myself so that I may steal it and use it for my own selfish advantage.

How do you define philosophy? There is no wrong answer.

I would define it as a person's view of the universe.

I spent the last few years studying political science at Georgia Tech. I enjoy having intellectual discussions with reasonable people that have view points I myself may not have been aware of.
