What we're about

LPGA Amateur Golf Association is an initiative born through an alliance between the LPGA Foundation and the Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA). For almost 30 years, the EWGA connected thousands of women across the U.S. and beyond to learn, play, and enjoy golf for business and fun. By joining forces, the LPGA and EWGA are able to broaden the reach of the LPGA’s renowned resources to the EWGA’s amateur women golfers and grow the audience for a combined mission.

We bring women together to share their passion for golf! With chapters in over 100 cities in the U.S. and internationally, the LPGA Amateur Golf Association hosts thousands of golf, social, and networking events annually as well as providing members with the opportunity to participate in major National championships and events. Whether you’re a beginner, taking your first lesson, or an experienced lifelong golfer, you’ll find a home here. Our members are interesting women with a variety of experiences from a collection of backgrounds.

The Hampton Roads chapter invites players of all levels from beginners to those with low handicaps. There are also opportunities to compete if you are interested in competition. See the links at the bottom of the page to find us on the web and on Facebook too!
