Introduction to data science workshop

Hosted By

Details
Beginners data science workshop - an introduction to some of the Python tools used for data processing, analysis and visualisation.
This is aimed at people with some Python knowledge who are interested in data science (the previous beginners workshop should be enough).
You will need:
- A laptop capable of running the Anaconda Python distribution (https://www.anaconda.com/download/).
- To have installed the above (the Python 3.6 version) before the workshop - this is important as we won't have time (or probably wifi bandwidth) for everyone to do this during the workshop. There are GUI installers which should be easy to install.
- To have checked the Anaconda Navigator program runs.
- There will likely be limited power outlets, so please make sure all devices are charged beforehand.
Re: Anaconda installation - no need to install Microsoft VS code when prompted (unless you want that IDE installed).
