📗Storytime & Song at the Pico Branch Library!
📗Hi Everyone! Hope to see you at this fun story and singing activity! The age group for this is babies to preschool. The Santa Monica Libraries do storytime for 6 weeks on, followed by a 2 week break, then back on again. Be sure to check here to make sure it's on. 📗Go to the Library Annex building — the main doors will be locked as storytime happens BEFORE the library opens. 📗IMPORTANT NOTES : (1) BEFORE heading out, CHECK this event page for any last minute location / time changes (due to weather, illness, etc.). (2) Please RSVP! Fewer than three RSVPs may result in a cancelled event. Plus, it encourages others😊 📗FIND US : I’m the girl with the big brown BEAR backpack. 📗PARKING TIPS : Choose from two parking lots : 1) Parking lot 1: Enter on Pico Blvd. 2) Parking lot 2: Enter on Virginia Ave.

What we're about

Welcome Expecting and New Parents Westside!

Parenthood is an amazing and exciting journey, especially for first-time moms and dads. This group aims to enrich this experience. We hope to enhance your children's development as well as create a warm and helpful community among us. Our group welcomes everyone. Really. Parenthood and children bond us all :) All cultures, all religions, all sexual orientations, etc.

Our events will include things like play dates, museum hangouts, walks, family weekends (for working folks), outdoor workouts and foodie events.

Suggestions and ideas are always welcome! (We encourage all members to suggest a gathering by clicking the "schedule or suggest a meetup" button on our group page.)

Events will take place mostly on the westside and beach cities of LA.

Our Group Guidelines:

1) Facilitating fun for ourselves and most importantly, for the babies is enthusiastically encouraged!

2) If baby shows ANY visible signs of sickness, even if it's during the last days of recovery, we'd appreciate if baby skips the play date and joins us at the next one! (Goes without saying that allergies are totally okay!)

3) Per MeetUp guidelines: be real, be respectful, be kind, be safe:

Thanks and take care,
