Learn about Code4000 from concept to success - finding hidden talent in our criminal justice system and helping to break the cycle of crime.
SPEAKER: Shauna Devlin, Regional Manager North, Code 4000.
Code4000 are the only providers of computer programming training to serving prisoners within the UK. Their aim is to deliver high quality computer programming training aligned with what modern tech industries look for in potential employees. Throughout the whole process they support each Code4000 graduate to find sustainable employment in the tech-industry upon release. Our goal is to enable marginalised people attain secure, decent incomes.
Partnering with the world leading development charity VSO, we are combining our diverse range of skills and expertise and using agile practices with fast feedback cycles.
By working with local service providers, our ambition is to develop a self-sustaining platform that scales throughout East Africa. By developing the digital skills and capabilities of the communities we serve, our aim is to deliver sustainable impact for the long-term
