Join us in Ogawamachi, a town known for its vibrant organic farming community, for a hands-on experience in organic farming.
You'll do fieldwork, which might include tasks like spring vegetable planting (carrots, beans, etc.), sowing herbs, and preparing summer vegetable seedlings, depending on the day's weather and field conditions.
Afterward, savor dishes made with seasonal bamboo shoots, including bamboo shoot rice. We'll then take a hike through the forest, enjoying a campfire and forest bathing.
※Lunch location will be decided based on the day's weather, either in the forest or at a nearby cottage.■ Schedule:
10:00: Meet at Ogawamachi Station entrance
10:00-10:10: Introductions
10:10-10:30: Walk to the field
10:30-12:00: Organic farming experience
12:00-13:00: Lunch
13:00-14:30: Hiking & campfire in the forest
14:30-15:00: Return to Ogawamachi Station and disband
※The schedule is subject to change.■ Additional Information:
・Restrooms are available near the field and forest.

If you'd like to stay in town before or after the event, we can suggest several accommodations.■ Participation Fee:
・3,000 yen
・The fee covers lunch, tea ingredients, guide services, and maintenance of our managed forest.■ Meeting Place and Time:
・In front of Tobu Tojo Line's Ogawamachi Station entrance ※Note: This is Ogawamachi in Saitama, not Tokyo.
・10:00 AM. There is a convenience store nearby if you need to buy anything or use the restroom before gathering.
・Please be on time as we cannot wait for late arrivals.Example trains for the day:
・Tobu Tojo Line from Ikebukuro Station at 8:36 AM → Arrives at Ogawamachi Station at 9:50 AM (no transfer)
・Tokyo Metro Fukutoshin Line from Shibuya Station at 8:11 AM → Arrives at Ogawamachi Station at 9:40 AM (no transfer)
・Tokyu Toyoko Line from Yokohama Station at 7:42 AM → Arrives at Ogawamachi Station at 9:40 AM (no transfer)
※If you need to transfer at Ikebukuro Station, we recommend allowing extra time for your connection.■ Dress Code:
・Please wear clothes that can get dirty and are appropriate for farming and a campfire. Gloves will be provided.
・Hiking shoes are recommended for the forest, though sneakers are also common.■ Requests for Participants:
・Please bring your own drinking water.
・We will send a confirmation message one week before the event, so please make sure to reply.
・Please take your trash home with you.
・Please note that we cannot be responsible for any injuries, accidents, losses, thefts, damages, or other issues that may occur during the event.The guide speaks both English and Japanese, so there's no need to worry about language barriers.

【有機農業体験 with 森林ハイキング・焚火とタケノコご飯】
有機農業が盛んな小川町で、土に触れ、畑作業をしながら有機農業を体験しましょう！
畑で行う作業は、その日の気候や畑の状況などによって変わりますが、この時期はニンジンやインゲンなどの春野菜作り、ハーブの種まき、夏野菜の苗作りなどを行います。
その後、タケノコご飯などの旬のタケノコを使用した料理を食べます。
その後森の中をハイキングして歩き、焚き火と森林浴を楽しみます。
※お昼ご飯はその日の天気によって森で食べるか近くの古民家で食べるかを決めます。■ スケジュール:
10:00: 小川町駅入口で集合
10:00-10:10 自己紹介
10:10-10:30: 畑までウォーキング
10:30-12:00: 有機農業体験
12:00-13:00: 昼食を食べる
13:00-14:30: 森でハイキング&焚き火
14:30-15:00: 小川町駅に戻り解散
※スケジュールの時間は目安です。■ 追加情報:
・畑と森の近くに利用可能なトイレがあります。

・参加費は昼食の材料や、ガイド、私たちが管理する森の維持のために使用されます。■ 集合場所と時間
・東武東上線小川町駅の入り口前 ※注意：東京の小川町ではなく埼玉県の小川町です。
・午前10:00。近くにコンビニがあるので、必要なものがあれば購入し、お手洗いを済ませて集合してください。
・遅れて到着された方をお待ちすることはできませんので、お時間にはお気をつけください。・当日利用可能な電車の例：
東武東上線 池袋駅8:36発の電車→9:50小川町駅着（乗り換えなし）
東京メトロ副都心線 渋谷駅8:11発の電車→9:40小川町駅着（乗り換えなし）
東急東横線 横浜駅7:42発の電車→9:40小川町駅着（乗り換えなし）
※池袋駅で乗り換えが必要な方は、乗り換え時間に余裕を持つことをお勧めします。■ ドレスコード:
・土に触れたり、焚き火をしたりするので、汚れても問題のない服装で来てください。軍手はお貸しします。
・森ではハイキングシューズがあれば歩きやすいですが、スニーカーで来られる方もいます。■ 参加者の皆様へのお願い:
・ご自身の飲料水をお持ちください。
・イベントの1週間前に参加確認のメッセージを送りますので、必ずご返信をお願いします。
・ごみは各自でお持ち帰りください。
・イベント中に発生した怪我、事故、紛失や盗難、損害、その他の問題については責任を負いかねますので、ご了承ください。ガイドが英語と日本語の両方を話しますので、言葉の心配はいりません。
