Join industry insiders for a panel discussion on negotiating your salary. Questions are welcome! We will cover three broad topics around salary discussions:

2. Raises and reviews
3. The manager’s perspective

Our panel members are:

Cheryl Sylvester is Coach & President of Beyond Success Leadership, coaching leaders in tech for 10 years. Previously she was Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Stanton & Sylvester, a brand communications company, with a multi-year rank on the Profit W100. Cheryl blogs at ITBusiness.ca (http://itbusiness.ca/) at the intersection of tech, women, leadership and entrepreneurship.

Nora Jenkins is an HR geek with a mission to create innovative, next generation work experiences. Formerly managing technical recruitment at FreshBooks, she's now leading People Operations at Wealthsimple and building her utopian dream workplace from the ground up. Having been on the other side of countless negotiations, she loves helping others own their worth.

Corey Reid has been managing technology teams in the Canadian startup world for nearly two decades now. He has built and run software teams at some of the biggest success stories in that space -- taking companies from a dozen to a couple hundred employees. In 2016 he founded a consultancy called Upspark, to help growing technology companies in Toronto expand their capacity through coaching, training and process development.

Moderator:
Alexis Clarfield-Henry is the Director of Marketing and Communications for Unata. Alexis comes from a long career in advertising and recently joined the world of tech startups to quickly find out she much prefers being on the marketing side of the equation. She found that she has a knack for writing that makes B2b content creation way more fun than ever imagined!
